Which 4x4 should I buy?

There are options for all sorts of driver on the 4x4 market. There are several options that offer a very efficient 40mpg. Among the traditional offerings of Land Rovers and Jeeps - which are continually edging towards the luxury market thanks to very well equipped interiors and equipment - there are efficient Nissans, Skodas and Dacias for example. If you're looking for a second hand 4x4, thanks to the growing popularity of the class you can be sure to find something that will suit your needs.

What should I look for when buying 4x4?

Do you actually need a 4x4? If you live in the countryside and you're often traversing muddy fields across hills and fields, then it is the vehicle of choice. Equally, you may want the versatility of a 4x4 if you live in an area prone to snow during winter months.
